Daily Cash Prize Draw (THE “CONTEST)

November 30, 2021 - November 29, 2022 (“Contest Dates”)

 OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES (the “Rules”)

By submitting an entry, you fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Official Rules.

  1. GENERAL:
  • This Contest shall be conducted by Commonground Ventures (the "Sponsor") for all of its Canadian customers (excluding Quebec) to enter. An entrant shall be referred to as “You” or “Your”.
  • The contest runs from November 30, 2021 at 12:00 a.m. to November 29, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
  • Each day during the "Contest Dates" period (1) One Daily Prize Draw will be made from all "Eligible Entries" for that date.  See "Effective Date of Entries".
  • Effective Date of Entries. Once each purchase is processed and paid in full, automatic entries for online purchase(s) will be effective only for the Daily Prize draw on the date of purchase during the Contest Period. Entries submitted by mail will be effective only for the Daily Prize draw on the date the "Sponsor" receives and processes each entry. All entries become the exclusive property of Commonground Ventures and will not be acknowledged or returned. You are responsible for your costs of entering, including online access charges, long distance telephone charges, and postage.
  • No Purchase Entry method (“NPM”):  If You are interested in winning any of the daily prizes without purchase, Mail a 4" x 6" card with the following information:
    • Your full name
    • Your complete address
    • Valid email address (if you do not have an email address, print "no email address")
    • Valid telephone number
    • The words Daily Draw

  • You may enter up to one (1) time per NPM entry method per Daily Prize draw
  • Only one entry card will be accepted per person.
  • Odds of winning a Daily Prize decrease as the number of purchases made, or NPM Entries submitted, increase during the Contest Date(s).
  1. ELIGIBILITY:
  • To be eligible to win a prize, You must: a) be a Canadian resident (excluding Quebec); b) have made a purchase at the Commonground Ventures website during the Contest Dates OR have complied with the NPM Entry; c) have kept Your purchase at the time of the Prize Draw Date(s); d) have reached the age of majority in the province or territory in which You reside on or before the date of Your purchase and/or NPM entry and; e) not be an employee of, or living with an employee of Commonground Ventures, the contest platform; and all Sponsors, (“Prize Sponsor”) listed on our website. You agree to abide by all federal, provincial and municipal laws and the Contest Rules as set out herein. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations.
  1. CONTEST SCHEDULE and DAILY PRIZES:

Entries for each Daily Prize must be submitted pursuant to the daily submission method and received on the Date(s) noted in "Effective Date of Entries" to be eligible for each Daily Draw (“Eligible Entries”). Any Entries received outside of each Date of Entry are not eligible for that draw.

 

  1. DRAW PROCEDURES:
  • A representative from Commonground Ventures, Charlie Lake, British Columbia will initiate a random, computer generated draw from all Eligible Entries to obtain one (1) winner for the Daily Prize (“Eligible Winner”) allotted for the Daily Prize Draw Date within 24 hours following the Daily Prize Draw Date.
  • The Commonground Ventures representative will use all reasonable efforts to contact each Eligible Winner, provided that Eligible Winner has complied with all Rules. If the person so selected cannot be contacted within five (5) business days following the Draw Date (“Contact Date”), that person will be disqualified and Commonground Ventures will follow the process above to draw another Entry (“Alternate Winner”) and so on until contact has been made with each Eligible Winner or Alternate Winner.
  1. PRIZE WINNERS:
  • An Eligible Winner whose name has been selected on the Draw Date associated with their Prize must:
  • Be over the age of majority in the province in which they reside;
  • Within five (5) business days following the Contact Date, correctly answer a time-limited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s). The skill-testing process shall be administered at a pre-arranged time and place;
  • Execute a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the Official Contest Rules and acceptance of the Prize; and
  • Should any Eligible Winner fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly or does not answer within the allotted time period, that Eligible Winner shall be disqualified and the skill-testing question shall be administered to an Alternate Winner.
  • By accepting the Prize the Winner agrees to Commonground Ventures' use of their names, city, province or territory of residence and/or photograph for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation.
  1. ADDITIONAL TERMS:
  • By participating, You agree that: a) these Official Contest Rules and Commonground Ventures records of the draw or any other aspect of this contest shall be final and conclusive in all respects; and b) release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Commonground Ventures and its trustees, directors, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever which they, their heirs, successors, assigns, executors, or administrators may now or hereafter have directly or indirectly against them or any of them in respect of or relating to the Contest and/or the acceptance or use, misuse, or possession of any prize.
  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
  • Commonground Ventures shall not be responsible for print or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials; for transactions that are posted late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. Commonground Ventures assumes no responsibility for any computer, online, software, servers, providers, computer equipment, hardware or technical malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an Entry.
  1. PRIVACY POLICY:
  • Commonground Ventures will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this Contest and/or to ascertain your needs and market to You. We may communicate with You for any of these purposes by telephone, fax, text messaging, or other electronic means, and automatic dialing-announcing device, at the numbers you have provided us, or by internet, mail, email and other methods. By entering this Contest, You acknowledge and agree to give permission to Commonground Ventures to collect, use and disclose Your personal information in accordance with Commonground Ventures privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”). Commonground Ventures is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information You have provided herein.   1. OTHER:
  • This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram
  • Commonground Ventures reserves the right to amend or vary the Official Contest Rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules which are deemed by Commonground Ventures in its sole discretion necessary for business efficacy.
  • Commonground Ventures' records of the draw or any other aspect of this Contest shall be final and conclusive for all purposes relating to this Contest.
